O'mally Kourt Fudgery
Established in 2012, O'Mally Kourt Fudgery was founded in Mallorytown, Ontario by Rachel Orr and her husband. In 2014, they moved location to Brockville. The inspiration for the shop was to create work for their three girls, Alyssa, Meaghan and Kourtney. It has since become an entity of its own and a thriving little businesses. The shop name was created as a combination of the girls names as well as the place of its first home, Mallorytown. As so rightly named to represent their own family, the customers are also family. Even with relocating the community have been supportive in seeing this little jem continue to thrive.
"What is the heart of our little shoppe, and its success? The People"
The service aspect of the Fudgery is one of the most unique features. Whether it be tourists or local, everyone walking through the door is greeted like family and one time customers are often turned into regulars. The staff are friendly and all about the customers expereince. Wendy, the store manager, is the friendly face that creates you happily during the week and Rachel and her husband on the weekends. This little store is a little piece of heaven in Brockville.
There is so much goodness inside this one little store. It serves in house fresh fudge, Tracy's ice cream, milkshakes, cheese cakes, ice or hot coffees and so many other delightful things.
It is seasonal in its menu so they serve different delightful things like chili, soups and waffles during the colder months. But their great Fudge is a main stay all year round, with special seasonal flavours!
And with all of that goodness there is more! With the support of the clientele, they have expanded to carry a full retail line, providing excellent "shop local" opportunities for the residents of Brockville during the holiday season and beyond. They support local food vendors, refinished furniture producers, painters, sculptors woodcarvers and many others.
